A routine departure in the US turned into chaos when a passenger allegedly bit a flight attendant on a JetBlue flight moments before takeoff, forcing the aircraft to return to the gate and delaying the service.
The incident occurred on Sunday March 8, when the aircraft was preparing to depart from Palm Beach International Airport bound for Westchester County Airport.

Passenger rushes the front of the aircraft
According to reports, the situation escalated shortly before take off when a passenger suddenly rushed toward the front of the aircraft, alarming both passengers and crew.
Flight attendants attempted to intervene and calm the individual. However, the situation quickly turned physical.
During the altercation, the passenger bit one of the flight attendants, prompting fellow crew members and others nearby to restrain the individual while the pilots halted the departure process.

Flight forced to return to the gate
With the disturbance unfolding inside the cabin, the aircraft returned to the gate where airport authorities were called to deal with the situation.
Law enforcement officers boarded the aircraft and removed the disruptive passenger. The individual was reportedly taken into custody, though details regarding possible charges have not yet been widely confirmed.
The flight was delayed while the situation was resolved and the aircraft later departed for its destination.
