Saudi low-cost airline flyadeal has given its cabin crew a fresh new look, unveiling a new uniform designed to reflect the carrier’s growing identity as a modern Saudi airline.
The new look made its debut over Eid Al Fitr across flyadeal’s four operating bases in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah, with the airline saying the updated look blends style, comfort and practicality while staying true to its bold purple branding.

Drawing inspiration from flyadeal’s distinctive colour palette and “equal sign” logo, the uniform has been designed with flexibility and modesty in mind. Female crew can choose between three-quarter and long-sleeved blouses, while male crew have the option of short- or long-sleeved shirts, complete with subtle purple detailing on vest linings, pocket seams and jacket stitching.
Scarves, ties and hijabs also feature flyadeal’s branding, with the accessories not only adding a stylish finishing touch but also helping to indicate seniority levels among the airline’s more than 700 cabin crew.
The redesign was developed by flyadeal’s in-house team in collaboration with Saudi manufacturer Al-Harithy Tailoring, with cabin crew themselves involved throughout the process to help shape the final look.

And this is not just a fashion refresh.
The rollout comes at a time when flyadeal is expanding rapidly and increasingly positioning itself as one of Saudi Arabia’s most dynamic airline brands. The carrier recently said its fleet had grown to 45 aircraft following the delivery of another Airbus A320neo, while its continued expansion forms part of wider ambitions linked to Saudi Vision 2030.
With parent company Saudia Group having also placed a major Airbus order that includes aircraft for flyadeal, the airline’s future growth looks firmly on the cards.
For crew, though, the new uniform is about more than image. It is designed to offer comfort and confidence in the cabin, while projecting a polished and consistent brand identity.
In a region where airline uniforms often say just as much about culture and national image as they do about corporate branding, flyadeal’s latest look feels like a smart move: contemporary, practical and unmistakably Saudi.
What do you think of the new look?
